some spring things

Daisy

Despite the non-committal nature of Geelong weather (and complete neglect) our garden looks decidedly spring. My sweet little girls have taken to imaginary bush fairy games, collecting baskets of flowers (mostly weeds) and scattering their floral bounty through the house. I find plants in their pockets, in the car, school bags, in their beds, under my pillow...Leilani collected little daisies on two occasions and brought them to me, gushing, as she does, "Mummy, these are for you to draw!!!"

It is a welcome chance to celebrate creation, draw a little, play with a slightly different palette...almost...

Not to mention when an art activity is initiated by Leilani she is less inclined to be impatient with me.

Thank you dear friends for your comments on my last post. All of you have been here with me for the long haul and your support near and far is valued more than I know how to say.
