Once home from our holiday (We're going on an actual real one! Not just in my brain!) I'll declare this piece finished, or not. It needs my signature and blocking, not to mention a decent photo. It is night now, I've used my flash, the piece is hanging over the top of another stitched piece and I've taken the photo at an upward angle which distorts the image slightly (more than just having wrinkles in it to start with).
I think I'm at this point on a few pieces. Must really dig in and get to those finishing touches after our holiday!
Until then I'm not going to think about it. Nope.

Thank you, Colleen - now it is a new day and I feel a bit silly for being so hard on myself. It was a challenge for me to get this piece to a point where I really felt it was finished and not over or under worked in areas. I think I am really pleased with the result though :)
