A fair chunk of the past 24 hours I've spent with a feverish child snuggled in close, her heat waxing and waning between doses of panadol. She's up now, still warm, but playful so I think she's on the mend. Who can tell what the night will bring?
As she cuddled into my body on the couch this afternoon I said to L, "I'm so sorry your sick, my sweet baby." A very sweet resolute voice responded "No, I'm a big girl." Ok, then.
I don't think we'll require a trip to the doctor; just a very easy going weekend ahead. Perhaps some soup.

I hope she's feeling better soon. I wrote a post very recently about 10 remedies for cough and cold. My little one was sick with a dreadful cough and fever last weekend. He's almost all better now- just a tiny loose cough. I swear by manuka honey and apple cider vinegar. xo m.
